The principles of just-in-time manufacturing, error-proofing, and continuous improvement pioneered in the Toyota Production System (TPS) provide a powerful and proven framework for lean, demand-driven operations. But the transformation from traditional 'push' manufacturing to 'pull' requires an organization to gain a deep understanding of the principles and techniques, and to consistently apply them in just about every aspect of manufacturing and supply chain management.

Although the concepts are clear and the benefits compelling, the transformation to lean is a big job for most manufacturers. In addition to the training, culture changes, and value stream realignments that must take place, the adoption of just-in-time production management techniques is often more difficult than it may at first appear. Spreadsheets and manual processes may do the job for initial pilots, but they soon get overwhelmed by real-world issues in full-scale deployment, and often are not flexible or disciplined enough to enable standardized processes across multiple lines or factories.

That is why Factory Logic has developed the Factory Logic Lean Execution Suite. Factory Logic provides the tools manufacturing personnel need to effectively address the real-world issues of just-in-time production management and meet the following challenges:

Flexibility and Efficiency »
Inventory Reduction »
Customer Responsiveness »
Lean Standardization »
